I'm gonna keep tuning in until it gets formulaic and/or boring but for sure it's already more solid than most NBC sitcom pilots and feels like it's going to fill the gap in my sitcom routine AP Bio left behind, at least. It’s all about comparing “notes” this week on Perfect Harmony. It didn't do anything wrong for a pilot, in my opinion. They also accelerated the plot really fast I expected the first season to be about them getting to regionals or whatever so the fact that they wrapped that storyline up fast means they know how to cater to me at least. Sprinkle in some other characters and a random really good joke (the movie title reverend seems to do that fine) between the boring stuff and it's a feel-good show. Yeah I mean I didn't watch it expecting to be blown away with depth of character and cinematic genius or plot twists, it's a cute fun show where Whitford plays a lovable curmudgeon that gets shown the error of his ways by a group of misfits including Anna Camp doing her 'adorable great singer' routine.
